It doesn't matter.
What brings us together is the desire to explore colour.
Without a fixed idea. Without expectations of the outcome.
And without the thought of having to do anything "right".
Touch the materials. Experience colour. Experiment. Respond. Take away. Leave it.
Back to your own way of seeing.
FRIDAY. ARRIVE.
from 6:30 pm
Arrive at the studio. Have a glass of sparkling wine. Meet the others. Discover colours and materials and let the first ideas emerge.
You don't have to do anything at all that evening. But perhaps, at some point, you'll find yourself standing in front of your blank canvas and suddenly feel like making that first move.
SATURDAY. IMMERSE.
from 12 noon
Mix colour. Apply it. Paint over it. Take it away. Look.
I'll be there with you, offering impulses and showing you possibilities when they become interesting for your painting.
In between, we step back. Talk. Look.
Listen to music. Eat something. Have a glass of wine.
Our days are free to unfold into the evening.
And at some point, you may simply forget the time.
SONDAY. LOOK AGAIN.
from 12 noon
The next day, a painting often looks different. What still needs something? What can disappear?
And what might already be exactly right?
There is time to keep working, changing and refining -
or to consciously do nothing more at all.
In the end, there is your own work.
And you take it home with you.

Included: 100 x 80 cm canvas · all painting materials · drinks and fingerfood · personal guidance by Rooney
Maximum six people per weekend. The weekend will take place with a minimum of four participants. Places are allocated in the order of confirmed bookings.
