An Art Evening at the Historic Station

🕊️ Between Work and Word – An Evening of Resonance

There are evenings when time itself grows quiet.
In the historic train station, where departures and arrivals usually fill the air, people gathered — friends, strangers, entrepreneurs, companions — for an art evening that became more than a guided tour.

Art historian Lisa-Marie Rauscher spoke with ease and warmth, her words flowing with the calm of someone who truly listens.
Between her voice and the paintings, a subtle space unfolded —
a space made of glances, questions, and brief moments of understanding.

About seventy guests followed this quiet dialogue,
lingering before the works, letting color and silence speak.

It was an evening about form and stillness —
about what remains when words fade away.
The paintings seemed to take one last breath
before beginning their journey to Chongqing,
to the Hong Art Museum, where they will be on view from November to February.

Perhaps the most touching moment was this:
for a while, everyone seemed connected —
through art, through silence, through a shared breath in the room.

A gentle farewell.
And a beginning at the same time.

The journey continues — in paintings that are already on their way.
